The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has recently released the schedule for the supplementary exams of Class 10th and 12th for the year 2023. Following the declaration of the MP Board results, it was found that 37% of Class 10 students and 45% of Class 12 students did not pass the board exams.

To provide an opportunity for these students to improve their marks, the MPBSE has scheduled the supplementary exams to commence from July 17th and 18th for Class 10th and 12th, respectively. The exams will be held in accordance with the time table provided by the board, with each exam beginning at 9 AM and concluding at 12 noon.
The Class 10th pass percentage for this year’s MP Board exams was recorded at 63.29%, whereas the pass percentage for Class 12th was 55.28%. These figures indicate a decline of 17.44 points in the pass percentage of Class 12th students as compared to the previous year.
For the Class 10th supplementary exams, the dates for different subjects are as follows:
- Hindi: July 18
- Mathematics: July 19
- Urdu: July 20
- Social Sciences: July 21
- Sciences: July 22
- English: July 24
- Sanskrit: July 25
- Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Sindhi, Painting, Music: July 26
- NSQF: July 27
According to the MP Board results, a total of 5,15,955 students passed the Class 10th exams, comprising 2,64,216 girls and 2,51,739 boys. In the case of Class 12th, out of the 7,29,426 students who registered, 4,01,366 students successfully cleared the examinations.
Students who were unable to pass one or two subjects in the MPBSE Board results 2023 now have the opportunity to appear for the supplementary exams. These exams provide them with a chance to improve their marks and secure a passing grade.
